Demos are grouped by subject matter to help users easily find content they’re looking for. One demo group is assigned to each demo card. When a user clicks on a demo group, a page showing the demo cards for the demo group opens.

Create a Demo Group

To create a group:

  1. In Adobe Demos Admin, click Manage Demo Groups:



  2. On the Manage Demo Groups page, click + New Demo Group:



  3. On the Create Demo Group page, complete the settings:



    Parent Group*

    Required. Select a parent demo group to create a new subgroup under. Selecting None creates a new top-level demo group.

    Short Name*

    Required. Used for the URL of the demo group.

    Full Name*

    Required. Display name of the demo group.

    Description*

    Required. Type a description.

    Is Active

    Selected by default. Indicates that users can see the group. Click the toggle button to turn it off.

    Visibility Restrictions

    1. Click the Restrict group visibility to selected roles toggle button to restrict which user roles can view the demo group.
    2. Click Choose Roles and select the roles you want to view the demo group.

    Restricting a group to specific roles also restricts people from viewing any demo card or asset attached to the group (except for the special case of public assets, which can be downloaded/viewed by a direct link).



  4. Click Create Demo Group.


Edit a Demo Group


To edit a demo group:

  1. In Adobe Demos Admin, click Manage Demo Groups:



  2. On the Manage Demo Groups page, on the demo group you want to edit, click Edit at the bottom left:



  3. On the Edit Demo Group page, update the settings as needed:



    Parent Group*

    Grayed out. The parent demo group this demo group is a subgroup of. None indicates a top-level demo group.

    Short Name*

    Used for the URL of the demo group.

    Full Name*

    Display name of the demo group.

    Description*

    A general description.

    Is Active

    When the toggle button is turned on, it indicates that users can see the group. Click the toggle button to turn it off.

    Appearance Settings

    Hero Text Color

    The color of the text in the demo group page header. Click the box to select a color.

    Hero Background Color

    The color of the background in the demo group page header. Click the box to select a color.

    Hero Image

    The image in the demo group page header. To choose the image:

    1. Click the pencil icon.
    2. In the Select Image dialog, click Upload new.
    3. Browse to and select an image, then click Open.
    4. In the Select Image dialog, click Select.

    To delete the image, click the trash can icon.

    Card Image

    The image on the demo card. To choose the image:

    1. Click the pencil icon to select an image.
    2. In the Select Image dialog, click Upload new.
    3. Browse to and select an image, then click Open.
    4. In the Select Image dialog, click Select.

    To delete the image, click the trash can icon.

    Owners

    1. Click to display the owners.
    2. To remove a user, click the minus sign ().
    3. Click Add User to add a user, then search for and select the user you want to add as an owner.
    4. Click Add User.


  4. Click Save Properties.
