Demo tags are used to identify articles with related subject matter. When a user clicks a tag on a portal page, all articles with that tag are displayed.


Tags are organized by product and integration partner categories. If adding a tag, please follow the structure for ease of use when tagging.

Create a Category

To create a category:

  1. To create a demo tag category in Adobe Demos Admin, click Manage Demo Tags:



  2. On the Manage Demo Tags page, click + New Category:



  3. In the Add Category dialog, type a name for the category and click Add:


Edit a Category Name


To edit a category name:

  1. To edit a demo tag category name in Adobe Demos Admin, click Manage Demo Tags:



  2. On the Manage Demo Tags page, next to a category name, click the pencil icon:



  3. In the Update Category dialog, edit the name:



  4. Click Update.

Add a Tag


To add a tag:


  1. To add a demo tag in Adobe Demos Admin, click Manage Demo Tags:



  2. On the Manage Demo Tags page, next to the name of the category you want to add a tag to, click the plus sign (+):



  3. In the Add Tag dialog, complete the settings:



    Category

    Defaults to the category you clicked the plus sign for. Change as needed.

    Name*

    Required. Type the name of the tag.

    Alternate search terms

    Add any additional search terms/keywords.

    Tag is active

    Defaults to active. To deactivate the tag, click the toggle button.



  4. Click Add.


Edit a Tag


To edit a tag:

  1. To edit a demo tag category in Adobe Demos Admin, click Manage Demo Tags:



  2. On the Manage Demo Tags page, on the tag you want to edit, click Edit at the bottom left:



  3. In the Update Tag dialog, complete the settings:


    Category

    Change as needed.

    Name*

    Required. Change as needed.

    Alternate search terms

    Add or remove search terms/keywords as needed.

    Tag is active

    To activate or deactivate the tag, click the toggle button.



  4. Click Update.


Set Up a Product Icon for a Demo Tag


  1. In Adobe Demos Admin, click Manage Demo Tags:



  2. On the Manage Demo Tags page, on the tag you want to set up a product icon for, click the pencil icon to edit the tag:



  3. On the Edit Demo Tag page, click Set Icon:



  4. Click an existing icon, or click Upload new to find and select your icon:



    The icon and its URL appear at the top of the dialog:



  5. Click Select, then click Save. The icon now appears on any demo page that has the tag assigned:



Delete a Demo Tag Category

Important:     Deleting a category deletes all the tags that belong to the category. This means that the tags will be removed from any demo that was assigned the tags.


  1. In Adobe Demos Admin, click Manage Demo Tags:



  2. Next to the name of the category you want to delete, click the stacked dot icon:



  3. Click Delete:



  4. When prompted, click Delete to confirm:
